There is no fixed quantity of taking carbohydrates. On average, an adult person should take 250-280 grams of carbohydrates on a daily basis. This recommended value is based on a 2000 calorie diet.
So, your daily need for carbs may vary because it depends on your body weight, sex, and age.
Remember, excess of everything is bad. If you consume carbs more than the requirement, then it can prove harmful for your health. This is because the body uses the required amount of carbs for energy, and the left carbs can increase your body fat as excess carbs may convert into body fat.
Protein, carbohydrates, fibre, fats, vitamins and minerals are all important for our body because these build up the base of our body. These nutrients help to maintain body fitness.
