[3 reasons] why can’t you use protinex for bodybuilding?

protinex-for-bodybuilding

If you are also thinking of using protinex to build muscles, you are going in the wrong way. Although it claims to be rich in protein with eight-plus immunity nutrients, you still can’t use protinex for bodybuilding.

It is a vegetarian drink that gives you almost all the nutrients your body needs on a daily basis. It can be consumed as a healthy drink for a healthy lifestyle. Protinex has zero added sugar which makes it suitable for diabetic persons.

When we talk about bodybuilding, you should have at least an idea of your daily protein requirement.

I am not saying that this product will not help you in building muscles. But, from the bodybuilding side, it has less protein quantity.

Let me explain you in detail.

Protinex for bodybuilding

The brand claims that it fulfills your daily need for protein. So, let us focus on some factors and try to understand some facts. There are almost 3 reasons why protinex does not help in bodybuilding.

Low Protein quantity

Protinex is providing almost 9-10 grams of protein in one serving. And one serving of it equals 30 grams. It is recommended to consume 2 servings per day to strengthen your bones, build muscles, and live a healthy life.

On average, a person needs almost 2 grams of protein per kilogram of his/her body weight. It means that if your weight is around 55 kg, then you need approx. 110 grams of protein on a regular basis.

Now, if you want to use it for bodybuilding purposes, how can you fulfill your requirement.

If you take 2 servings per day of protinex, your body will get 20 grams of protein from it, which is not a great deal.

So, protinex doesn’t suit bodybuilding purposes.

Note: If you want a general health supplement for healthy living, then, of course, it is one of the best health supplements on the market. Womens and girls can use it to get its benefits. It will help them in making their hairs and immunity strong.

High Sugar content

It is suitable for diabetic patients as it has zero added sugar. When I read the nutritional label of protinex original (unflavoured), I was shocked to know the sugar content in it. It has 8.5 grams of sugar per serving which is not good for your health. Because on consuming 2 servings, you are getting 18 grams of sugar. I have not found this issue with the flavored ones as it has zero sugar.

So, avoid protinex original and go with flavored ones.

Price

Now, lets us compare the prices of whey protein and protinex. Protinex, 1 kg pack, will cost you around 1100-1200 rupees, whereas whey protein costs you around 1200-1300 rupees. Although, whey protein is a little expensive than protinex, but it worth its price.

You might hear that whey proteins are costly, but some brands provide high-quality protein at affordable rates.

Vitamins and minerals

It has 22 vitamins and minerals, which help to improve overall health. For better metabolism, it has vitamin B1, vitamin B2, and niacin. Also, it has calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, copper, zinc, vitamin A, vitamin D, Vitamin E, vitamin C for stronger bones and immunity.

Which is better Protinex or whey protein?

When it comes to comparison between protinex or whey protein, whey protein wins the race for bodybuilding.

Now, as you know, protinex has only 10 grams of protein per 30 grams of serving. On the other hand, almost all whey protein brands provide you 25 grams of protein per 30 grams of serving. That’s why I said whey protein wins the race in protein comparison.

Conclusion:

Finally, protinex is not good for muscle building. But, of course, you can add it to your diet as a dietary supplement to consume all the necessary vitamins and minerals. It has enriched with more than 8 nutrients to build strong immunity.

Using protinex for bodybuilding is not a good idea as it is not enough for building your muscles. Let me know in the comment section whether you will be going to use it or not. Feel free to share it with your friends and family to help them in getting the right knowledge.
