In this busy world, everyone is busy in their own work and most of the people don’t have time for their body. I can understand but bad health sometimes creates a very bad impact on your life.

When it comes to lose weight, people often get more lazy and inactive because of being over-weight.

So, I have a workout which you can do anywhere easily because it doesn’t require any special set and area.

Here are the 5 best weight loss exercises at home :

Jumping jacks

This exercise can be done anywhere and doesn’t require any equipment. It mainly works your glutes and hips flexors.

There are also other exercises available like cycling on a stationary bike which can raise your heart rate but jumping jacks improves the strength of your joints.

How to perform: To do this exercise, stand straight with your feet at normal width and arms to your sides.

Now, jump up and spread your feet beyond your shoulder width apart and your arms should be above your head touching little.

Jump again and come back to the initial normal position.

Jump squats

It is an explosive exercise to improve strength of your legs. Jumping squats uses your abdominal muscles as well as your legs muscles including hamstrings, glutes, lower back, and your core.   

How to perform: To do this exercise, simply stand straight with your arms at your sides and feet at shoulder width.

Then bend your knees to attempt squat position while maintaining your back straight. Next, jump up while extending your legs fully.

Make sure that your feet should be few inches above the floor while jumping.

 Now, make a smooth landing and again bend your knees.

This is your one rep. Repeat the same procedure again to attempt the next rep.

High knees

This exercise should be done at a fast pace. It is a cardiovascular exercise that improves momentum and strength of your legs with engaging your core also.

High knees can be used for body warm up before strength training or can be used as a weight loss workout at home because it doesn’t need much space.

How to perform: To do this exercise, simply stand straight and lift your left knee as high as possible. Then land the left knee and raise the right knee.

Your right foot should be above the ground before the left foot lands. Similarly again raise the left knee, land it and then raise the right knee.


Burpees is not a single movement exercise. It is somewhere a combination of puh ups and jump squats. It improves the strength and endurance of your body.

This exercise is difficult to do because you will get tired in just 5-10 reps.

How to perform: To do this exercise, bend your knees to take the squat position. Now, with your hands in front, lower down on the floor and jump your legs to get extended to take a pushup position.

Do one rep of push up, jump your with your legs to get starting position of foot. Stand straight and make a clap with your hands above the head with a little jump on your foot.

Now, again take the squat position and repeat the same process.

Skipping rope

Everyone is familiar with this exercise. But, they don’t know that skipping rope alone is capable of losing weight at home easily.

And the best part is, you may have practised it before in your childhood. It’s easy to do, requires no equipment (except the rope itself), and burns a lot of calories.

How to perform: According to me, you may already know about the proper form of doing skipping rope. And I don’t want to waste your time in that.
